Near-Perfect Winds, Perfect Score: SVYC Beats RVYC 4-0
The annual Mermaid team race between Sea View Yacht Club and Royal Victoria Yacht Club took place on Wednesday, 28th May. Despite early concerns about the wind, conditions improved into a near-perfect evening for racing. Mermaid Silver Jubilee Cup Bank Holiday Weekend
The Silver Jubilee Trophy, introduced in 1987 to celebrate 25 years of the Robbs-designed Seaview Mermaid, will be raced for on Sunday 25th May during the Bank Holiday weekend. All Mermaid cup races this weekend will start at 10:30am, with racing likely proceeding straight to finals.
