Six-Gun Salute to Antony Blake Simms
A wake for Antony Blake Simms was held this afternoon at the Sea View Yacht Club, following a service at St Peter's Church in Seaview. Friends and relatives gathered to mark the occasion and later went out on the club's RIB, Joy , to scatter Mr Simms' ashes off Seaview near No Man's Land Fort. As the ashes were committed to the water and a six-gun salute fired, a rainbow appeared over the Solent. More »

SVYC Regatta Day 2
Day 2 started out looking identical to day 1, a lumpy sea on the high tide driven by 15-20kn NE. The SVOD Cadets lead the way battling the sea state. Racing in the west George Cecil secured his second trophy ahead of Benjy Edwards. SVYC Regatta Day 1
After a hot, but still, few days for Seaview Race Week, all eyes turned to the SVYC Regatta, the culmination of the Seaview sailing season. 21 starts a day in arguably the best piece of water in the Solent for racing, everyone had looked forward to a great two days of racing. SVYC Club Regatta this weekend
The Sea View Yacht Club Regatta will be held this Sunday 17th and Monday 18th August. With 20 races each day scheduled, there really is something for everyone!
